I started a new contract at the Bank. Once again I got hired to fix up another developers shyte solution to a problem that business team wanted fixed and automated. It took 2 developers of different background to create a MS access Data and Excel Report solution for Sales reporting. Not only did they bastardise the MS Access database, but they duplicated the same functionality in both the Access DB and MS Excel Reports. An insane amount of money was spent with lots of overtime , pain and suffering was endured, only to recieve a solution that will work only once.
